I have to thank and for alerting me to this alert.

There is a spam comment going around with a hyperlinkm that reads 'rofl this may be relevant to your interests'.

If you receive such a comment, DO NOT CLICK THE HYPERLINK! EVEN IF IT IS FROM A TRUSTED FRIEND!

It will send you to a page that won't load, but then a hack will discover your DeviantART ID + password then use it to spread it even more, even to deviantas who you will have never visited.

As a knock on effect, this will lead to you being unable to make posts due to deviantART locking you up as a spammer.

There are reports that it may also cause problems with your computer.

Again, if you see a hyperlink that reads 'rofl this may be relevant to your interests', DO NOT CLICK ON IT!
