Rewrite

The day after making the phone call, Sylvester had gone to the WB offices.  He was talking to Tom Minton, the person who he called TM.  Tom Minton was one of the key script writers for the story.  He had also been involved with several other scripts.  As a result, he and Sylvester had become fairly good friends over the time they had known each other.  Tom had a copy of the script in front of him, since Sylvester wanted to have a talk about a possible rewrite.  This wasn’t the first time this had happened.  Sylvester had been able to get some moments of the old ‘Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries’ episodes rewritten when he felt there was a problem with the script.
“So Sylvester, what is it that you want rewritten?” Tom asked.
“Thank you for seeing me TM.  The reason I want a rewrite is for Tweety’s sthake.” Sylvester began.  Tom leaned closer in to Sylvester.
“Tweety?  Is something wrong with him?” Sylvester gave a nod.
“Every movie that has been made, he’s always been sthingle.  And it’s really stharting to get him down outside of the camera.  I sthaw him last night and he told me that he was lonely…” Tom cut Sylvester off, seeing where this was going.
“Sylvester, I know you mean well, but casting a female for him to work with may make the problem worse for him.”  Sylvester gave a shrug.
“It worked for me.  I met Sylvia on the screen.  And now we have a small family.” Sylvester argued.
“It may have worked for you, but it might not work for Tweety.” Tom argued back, before giving a sigh and looking through the copy of the script that was on his desk for the moment.  “However, now that you mention it, there is something missing from the story.  Having a female for Tweety may fill in that hole.  However, it may also lower his self esteem even more.” Tom continued.
“Come on TM.  I’ll even help to find the perfect bird.” Sylvester suggested.  Tom looked up from the script to look up at Sylvester, before finally smiling and giving a nod.
“Ok Sylvester.  I’ll get to work on writing a part.  I’ll give you the week to find someone suitable.” Sylvester stood up and shook Tom Minton’s hand.
“Thanketh TM.  I’ll find you a perfect candidate.” Sylvester said, giving another handshake before leaving the office.  Tom looked back down at the script.
“Writing the ideal part is not going to be an easy job, that’s for sure.” Tom thought to himself.
